Cancellation, Return & Exchange Policy

At Sethu Marketing, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with our sustainable energy solutions, including solar panels, inverters, and solar plant installations. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to make the cancellation, return, and exchange process as smooth as possible. Please review our policy below:

Cancellation Policy

1. Pre-Installation Cancellation: Orders for solar systems, inverters, or solar plant installations can be canceled free of charge within 24 hours of placing the order, provided no site visits or installation work have commenced. If cancellation is requested after 24 hours but before installation begins, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total order value may apply to cover administrative and processing costs. Once installation work has started, cancellations are not permitted. However, we will work with you to address any concerns and find a suitable solution.
2. Service Cancellation: For maintenance or repair service bookings, cancellations can be made free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a service fee of ₹500 to cover logistical costs.

Return Policy

1. Product Returns: Returns are applicable only for standalone products (e.g., inverters or accessories) that are unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging. Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery, and the product must be returned within 14 days of approval. A restocking fee of 15% of the product cost may apply. Shipping costs for returns are borne by the customer unless the product is defective or damaged.
2. Defective or Damaged Products: If a product arrives defective or damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting us at +91 99656 74221 or emailing mails2sethumarketing@gmail.com. Provide photos and a brief description of the issue. We will replace the defective/damaged product at no additional cost, subject to verification.
3. Installed Products: Once a product (e.g., solar panel, inverter, or solar plant system) is installed, it is not eligible for return unless covered under warranty terms. Please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty or our service agreement for details.

Exchange Policy

1. Eligibility: Exchanges are available for standalone products (e.g., inverters) within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and free of damage. Exchanges for installed systems are not permitted unless there is a manufacturing defect covered under warranty.
2. Process: Contact us at +91 99656 74221 or rmurashu@gmail.com to initiate an exchange request. After approval, return the product to our location at 474, Bharathiyar St, Viola Garden, Nehrunagar, Karaikal, Puducherry - 609 602. Shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer unless the exchange is due to a defect.
3. Resolution: We will provide a replacement of equal or similar value, subject to availability. If an exact replacement is unavailable, a credit note or refund (minus applicable fees) may be offered.

General Terms

Refunds, where applicable, will be credited within 15 business days of receiving the returned product, credited to the original payment method. Custom-designed solar systems or solar plants are non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to their bespoke nature. Tamil Nadu Government Solar Subsidy Scheme benefits are subject to government terms and cannot be refunded or exchanged by Sethu Marketing.
